There is no actual cure for sore throat, but there are things you can do to help it heal quicker and relieve the pain. The itching, burning and often painful sensation in the back of your throat that occurs during and after a cold or a flu is distracting, unpleasant and it can lead to a good amount of irritation during. Alternatively, a sore throat can occur due to the dry air, for example, if you sleep with your mouth open during the winter, when home heating is used. Drink Plenty of Liquids
Increased fluid intake will not cure a sore throat. It will give the body the source of the products it needs to keep the fluids in the body for the body to work properly. It is only one part of the process
Get Plenty of Rest
If the sore throat occurred due to a bacterial or viral infection, the body will need time to fight it off. Engaging in strenuous activity can make the recovery take more time. When people are sick, they do not want to stay sick for long.
Go to See a Doctor
You can skip this step if you the problem did not come about because of a viral or bacterial infection, this step is not necessary. Minor bacterial and viral infections do not cause a need for a doctor’s visit either.  The average person does not need to see a doctor for them either.
Wait
Most sore throats do not get cured with a doctor’s intervention. The body’s immune system will fight the condition off on its own. The human in charge of the body just has to let this happen on its own.   The patient can relieve the pain associated with a sore throat through the use of lozenges and other items. These over-the-counter remedies only bring temporary relief. They do not cure any of the conditions that cause the symptoms they treat.
