Flu Vaccination
Flu vaccination also known as flu shot is the most effective method that prevents flu. Immunization should be made annually.
Who has to be vaccinated?
The following groups who are most vulnerable to flu illness:
• Family members of the following groups
• The Elderly ( It’s very important to follow other flu avoiding methods as well as getting vaccinated, because the efficacy rate is 15-30% past the age of 70);
• Patients with chronic lung and respiratory diseases, asthma;
• Patients with chronic heart – cardiovascular diseases;
• Patients with chronic kidney diseases;
• Patients with diabetes and other chronic metabolic diseases;
• The medical staff, policemen, vendors, educational institutions and other large factories workers for the benefit to society;
• People wishing to reduce the risk of flu.
